Come on, Obama! I see all those reports that reprimand you for not attending the funerals of people who matter. If you really cared about the people in the United States, you would attend their funerals.

Last year, in 2014, the White House reported 456 staff members. The number of people who died in 2013, according to the CDC was 2,596,993. The number of deaths in 2014 surely must have been close to that number. And yet, there you sit in your big white house, ignoring all the deaths of all the people around you, when you could be spending your time attending funerals.

Let me break it down for you. You could spare 16 staff members a day to attend funerals around the country. Yeah, I know, their flights will cost money, but WHO CARES!

The press, of course! And let me tell you, President Obama, my family members are just as important as the ones who make the news, so when all those news writers vilify you for not attending every single funeral of every single person who made a difference, I want you to know that every single person I know has made a difference in my life, too.

So, as a U.S. citizen, whose son sacrificed years of his life to defend our country, whose daughters are contributing members of society, and whose grandchildren make this planet a better place to live just by being here, I think you should make it a priority to attend funerals of every single one of those 2.6 million people who died last year!

Sorry for the sarcasm, readers. I have just read another news report of another unsatisfied news reporter who just could not understand why the White House didn’t send a representative to be present at another funeral. Let me say this – we are ALL important! We have ALL made sacrifices! We ALL deserve merit! And we ALL deserve love. Do we really expect our president to attend the funerals of everyone in this country who has died for our country? Is whoever appears in the news today or whenever you read this, more important than your loved ones?

I’m so sick of people criticizing others for behaviors that really aren’t all that serious. I think the White House staff has other far more important situations to handle than attending every funeral the media expects them to attend. A simple, “I’m sorry for your loss,” should suffice. But then, that type of attitude wouldn’t satisfy the Barack Bashers, would it?

So here’s an idea for all the 2016 presidential hopefuls, such as Jeb Bush, Ben Carson, Chris Christie, Ted Cruz, Carly Fiorina, Lindsey Graham, Mike Huckabee, Bobby Jindal, George Pataki, Rand Paul, Rick Perry, Marco Rubio, Rick Santorum, Donald Trump, Lincoln Chafee, Hillary Clinton, Martin O’Malley, Bernie Sanders, Jim Webb, and Jill Stein – if you want votes – particularly those from the press, start attending funerals. Just map out your campaign trails to coincide with the deaths of every United States Citizen. You could hit 16 cities a day and the press would love you!
