Who Am I?

A mom, grandma, daughter, sister, and friend, I consider myself to be spiritual (not religious), imaginative, creative, compassionate, and considerate. I enjoy crocheting and making jewelry.

Thank you for visiting!

While searching for solutions to muddy graying hair, I stumbled upon your blog. Love your writing and I am delighted to find another gramma caring for the kids and working for her daughter. I quit a soul killing job in Portland Oregon three years ago and moved to Cut Bank Montana. One of the few times in my life that I made a decision to change my life rather than letting life just happen to me. I love what I do and my boss, it has worked out really well. Enjoyed all of your articles and identified with many of your experiences. Thank you.

  3. You are such a prolific writer and I love everything you share. Here is my latest story, The Squirrel that Shared” podcast, All my best, Mayor of Storyville

Hi.my name is Gary Anthony Wize.My father Anthony wize changed our name from Wiza when he was a young man coming to Detriot looking for a job during the depression. My Grandfather,Peter Wiza came to the U.S with his wife approX.1870.They came on their honeymoon to visit with his brothers who came earlier. They came from Prussia/Poland thru Berlin. The boat journey nearly killed my grandmother,so they settled in upper Michigan and obtained land by the home settler act near Alpena Michigan.I know very little about the Wiza family. The wiza name is not very common in Michigan so I’m trying to find more about our extended family.I’m 73 and a retired engineering group manager with GM.If you goggle me use Gary A. Wize for some of my Patents and if you have driven a GM vehicle who have probablly sat on some of my designs. If you know any thing about the Wiza”s I would like to hear from you. sincerely and best regards,..Gary

I’m sorry I didn’t respond to you 2 years ago. I never knew you contacted me and just today checked this portion of wordpress. You might want to get a hold of Timothy Wiza who is also looking for history about his family. You can find him on FaceBook.

Again I apologize. Hope you had a beautiful Christmas and will have a Happy New Year.
